TIPS OF CARE:

Yanco melamine, plastic, stemware, wood & bamboo products are durable, scratch and break resistant. It is dishwasher safe, too. By following simple tips below, you will maintain your melamine/plastic/stemware product in a new and fresh appearance.

MELAMINEWARE:

• Do not use melamine products in oven or microwaves
• Do not expose any melamine products to heat in excess of 200 °F
• Try not to heat with any heat lamps, conveyor belts, or plate warmers
• Immediately remove any damaged or chipped melamine products from operational use
• Wash melamine products as soon as possible to prevent scaling and staining
• Make sure the cycle is gentle and not extremely hot when using dishwasher
• Do not use chlorine bleach or chlorine-based sanitizing solutions
• Have a qualified technician establish a maintenance schedule for your dishwashing system to ensure proper temperature, chemical levels, and mineral content
• Do not use nail polish remover or turpentine to remove sticker residue. Use an oil-based lubricant instead for best results.

PLASTIC / STEMWARE

• Do not use plastic or stemware products in ovens or microwaves
• Always handle with care. Do not drop, strike or throw
• Do not expose to high heat or flame
• Rinse as soon as possible after use. Soak for at least 10 minutes for the best result
• Scrub with a soft sponge or brush. Do not use steel, wool, or green scrubbies
• Do not use bleach or bleach-base products
• Place in the correct size compartment rack. Do not overload the dishwasher
• Make sure all detergents and chemicals being used are bleach free
• To avoid sticking or jamming, allow drinkware to cool and air dry before stacking

WOOD AND BAMBOO

Yanco wood & bamboo trays / plates / bowls are made of real wood and bamboo. They are designed to be durable and environment-friendly. It is safe for the direct contact of food. Please follow care instructions below to maintain its optimal appearance and lifespan.

• Avoid heavy falls or repeated knocks, as it will cause cracks, splits or scuff the products.
• Apply oil to your wood & bamboo products to keep them supple and moisturized. A generous application of oil conditions the wood, and repeated application saturates the layers, keeping the wood resilient and providing a natural lustre.
• Wash with water and liquid soap. Use soft sponges for cleaning.
• DO NOT expose excessively to water. Avoid soaking and using hot water.
• Not recommended for dishwasher or microwave use
